Purpose of the development: The system is designed for automated monitoring and control of electrical substations.

Recommended application field: In power engineering at electrical substations.

Technical characteristic: Main subsystems of ACS: - automated dispatch control system; - automated data collection system from microprocessor-based devices for relay protection and electric automatics; - system of registration of emergency events; - transient monitoring system; - data transmission system to the upper hierarchical levels; - automated control system for isolation of high-voltage bushings under voltage; - substation own needs monitoring system; - automated system for the formation of dispatching reports and operational documentation; - system of technological and security video surveillance.

Advantages over analogues: The developed ACS is a fundamentally new, fully-functional automated complex that provides a drastic reduction in labor costs and an increase in the reliability of the substation. The system has no analogues in Ukraine and corresponds to the best world standards. Convenience in work, namely: - simple and intuitive interface; - the ability to control all switching devices of the object, taking into account the operational locks; - operational control of the electrical circuit; - automatic logging of switching, incidents, accidents; - operational control of the admissibility of the operation and input; - full self-diagnosis of all system components; - memorization of all individual settings; - full-featured training course and detailed reference material; - context-sensitive help and pop-up hints.

The only development environment for automated process control systems allows: - to solve the problems of software docking of various system devices and related modules; - create control, control and blocking algorithms distributed over devices; - have access from any workplace to all information available in the system, in accordance with the powers granted. Openness and imitation of standards provides: - interaction with other programs and systems using modern technologies (OPC, OLE, DCOM, ActiveX, OLE DB, ODBC, etc.); - support for protocols of IEC standards; - using documents of any type in the operator interface and data exchange with them; - unlimited expansion of the functionality of third-party products; - open interfaces for the user to create any basic elements.
