Purpose of the development: For the implementation of the most advanced cancer treatment techniques using reactions that occur between radiation sensitive drugs and neutrons - NCT (Neutron Capture Therapy). Such techniques are available to medicine only in the presence of a complex and unique nuclear-physical technology.

Recommended application field: The medicine. Oncology.

Advantages over analogues: There are no analogues in Ukraine. It is not inferior to modern foreign centers for neutron therapy.

The complex is based on four powerful electrophysical facilities capable of generating neutron fluxes of various density and energy in accordance with the needs of modern nuclear medicine.
