IMMUNOENZYME TEST SYSTEM FOR THE DIAGNOSIS OF TUBERCULOSIS
Purpose of the development:
Rapid quantitative determination in serum or in blood plasma of cattle (cattle) antibodies to Mycobacterium bovis (M. bovis) in order to diagnose infection of cattle with the causative agent of tuberculosis.
Recommended application field:
Agriculture, veterinary.
Advantages over analogues:
The proposed immunoenzymatic test-system includes an immunosorbent made on the basis of highly immunogenic and highly specific for antibodies MPB63-MRB83 M. bovis simultaneously has antigenic properties of two individual antigens M. bovis, which increases the sensitivity of the test system. The development of diagnostic tests using recombinant Mycobacterium proteins is promising for their effectiveness, low cost and safety. The test system is available, accurate, simple and reliable in operation.

Description of the development:
() Traditional methods of diagnosis of tuberculosis today lack the necessary sensitivity and specificity. The proposed test system is necessary for the timely detection of animals infected with the causative agent of tuberculosis at the herd level, animals with latent tuberculosis, as well as animals with tuberculin allergy, which are hidden sources of the causative agent of tuberculosis. All this is very important in the period of the recreational activities and to control the epizootic situation.
