Purpose of the development: Measuring dust mass concentration is designed to measure dust content in air of various origin and chemical composition when monitoring the exceedance of maximum permissible concentrations in the air of the working area, technological control of air conditioning, ventilation and cleanliness of various objects, as well as alarm when exceeding specified thresholds after graduation a place of operation by a comparative method.

Recommended application field: The device can be used in security systems of airports, railway stations, subway stations, in aircraft, space technology, chemical industry, mining, automotive transport, medicine, agriculture, for monitoring the state of the environment in Ukraine and other countries.

Technical characteristic: - time of one measurement - 15 s; - measurement of dust concentration in the first channel (particle size 0.2-2.5 microns) 0-50 mg / m3 is 0-150000 particles; on the second channel (particle size 2.5-10 microns) 0-250 mg / m3 - 0-250000 particles; - measurement error - 2.5%; - dimensions of the device - 130x100x36 mm; - weight - 220 g.

Advantages over analogues: The created device converts the concentration of dust and other external influences on the frequency signal, which allows creating radio-measuring microelectronic converters according to the integrated technology and increasing speed, accuracy and sensitivity, expanding the range of measured values, improving reliability, stability and long-term stability of parameters.

A frequency dust concentration meter is based on an optical method for measuring dust concentration without prior sedimentation. The development uses dependencies of reactive properties and negative resistance of semiconductor devices on the effects of external physical quantities and the creation on this basis of a new class of microelectronic frequency converters for the concentration of gases, dust, pressure, humidity and temperature.
