Purpose of the development: The ultrasonic level gauge is intended for contactless (remote) measurement of the level of rare and loose matters in technological vessel of open and closed type by echo-sounding the distance from the acoustic transducer to the matter surface. The level gauge may be used to measure the level of liquid and loose matters with the purpose to automatize regulated technological processes.

Technical characteristic: Basic Technical Data: - maxsimum measurement distance no less than 12 m - minimum distance no more then 0.5 m - relative error in distance measurement 0.5 m - operation conditions: temperature - 30 +80 gr.C relative humidity 100%.

Advantages over analogues: The instrument price is lower than that of available analogs. The instruments with analogous characteristics were not been produced in the teritory of Ukraine.

The level gauge: - controls the process of technological vessel filling, producing the alarm signal when reaching the preset levels; - converts distance into level, volume, mass with results outpur to display; - transfers the results of measurement and control in analog or digital form to telemetry system. The level gauge has technical manuals and specifications applied, the experimental prototype has passed the industrial tests.
