Purpose of the development: The hardware and software system is designed to equip the workplace at the quality control site in order to objectively assess the quality of Braille application and to comply with its existing requirements and recommendations in the manufacture of printed forms and finished printed (packaging) products.

Advantages over analogues: With the help of a hardware-software complex, it is possible to carry out quality control at all stages of applying Braille, which ensures reliable perception by people with visual problems of Braille on printed (packaging) and other types of products.

The complex consists of the following components: an optical module, a control system for illuminators in the visible and infrared ranges. The complex includes the appropriate software: a program for entering and saving images, a program for calculating the parameters of a Braille font element.
