Description of the development:
() A new method for control of suface density of the sheet and band materials has been developed. The method permits the gauge sensor to be located on one side of material specimen under control in contrast to generally used twoside sensors. This permits one to provide control of rather distributed kinds of materials with one-side access to them: sleeve films, spherical goods, coantings applied to materials as well as to peform the control in the sections of technological equipment with one-side access, etc.
