Purpose of the development: Gas moisture meter is designed to measure the moisture content of natural gas.

Recommended application field: Petrochemistry, gas processing.

Technical characteristic: - range of measurement of humidity of natural gas by dew point temperature: from -1 to -75 ° C; - working pressure: 1 atm; - measurement error: ± 0.1 ° С; - gas flow through the analyzer: 2.0 ± 0.5 l / min; - time of one measurement: 0.5 min; - the period between measurements: no more than 1 min; - power consumption: not more than 30 W; - sensor mass: not more than 2 kg; - mass of the processing unit: 2 kg.

Advantages over analogues: The proposed layout differs from the well-known domestic and foreign analogues in a high degree of process automation. Compared with the well-known moisture meters from Michell (models CONDUMAX, S4000, DEWMET), Marquis (models GIGROMAT 1100-02), Toros, Bovan (model 241), Kong-Prima, the proposed gas moisture meter has 2-3 times higher accuracy, 5 times higher speed.

The development stage readiness: Pre-production model is made

Technical and economic effect: The expected annual economic effect is 32.0 thousand UAH, since the projected cost of the proposed gas analyzer is 48.0 thousand UAH, and foreign cost is not less than 80.0 thousand UAH.

The task of measuring humidity is one of the most important problems for both clean and process gases. With the development of gas processing, gas separation and petrochemical technologies to ensure product quality, when it is necessary to go to extremely low concentrations, and there is a need for a quick response of the analyzer, including for gases of variable composition, the task of measuring humidity is immediately complicated. Ukrainian University has developed and proposes a two-channel (two-wave) analyzer of natural gas humidity using the feedback principle, which allows to achieve high accuracy of measurement of natural gas humidity and sensitivity. The units can be relative humidity, dew point temperature, moisture mass fraction.
