Purpose of the development: Ultrasonic flow cavitator is designed for cavitation treatment of liquid media in the flow - non-reagent disinfection from harmful and dangerous to human health microorganisms in industrial drains, cold sterilization of milk, production of liquid humic fertilizers, mixing and activation of liquid fertilizers, etc.

Recommended application field: Food industry, medicine, agriculture, processing industry.

Technical characteristic: Operating frequency, kHz: 22.5 ± 5%; productivity, l / min: to 50; pressure of the treated fluid, MPa: up to 1.0; power consumption, W: 1200 ± 20%; connecting thread: pipe 1.5 "; supply voltage, V: 220 ± 10% (50 Hz); operating mode: continuous; ambient temperature, ° С: 5 - 30 ± 5.

Description of the development:

For the treatment of liquid media, the installation uses physical processes accompanying the phenomenon of ultrasonic cavitation, in which vapor-gas cavitation bubbles are formed in the liquid in the rarefaction phase of the ultrasonic wave, which collapse in the compression phase. To create a region in a liquid with developed cavitation, the principle of focusing ultrasonic vibrations to a high level of intensity in the region of the longitudinal axis of a tubular resonator excited on the main mode of radial oscillations was used. To excite the resonator of radial oscillations, piezoelectric half-wave drives of axial displacements with knife-shaped oscillatory speed transformers are installed on its outer surface. Inactivation of microorganisms in the cavitation environment occurs due to: - mechanical destruction of microorganisms by spherical shock waves and cumulative jets formed during the collapse of cavitation bubbles; - local pressure increase up to 1000 MPa and temperature up to 1000 ° С at the collapse of cavitation bubbles; - intensification of oxidative processes in the cavitation region.
