TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

BREWATERING NON-CONDITIONAL COAL, SMALL PEAT AND OTHER WASTE - ALTERNATIVE TO NATURAL GAS OR OIL FOR HOUSEHOLD UTILITY AND INDUSTRIAL CONSUMERS

Purpose of the development: The developed technology is intended for briquetting solid fuel (coal, peat, etc.).

Recommended application field: Heating of energy, industry and housing and utilities with a heat capacity of 5 to 1000 kW.

Technical characteristic: The developed briquetting lines are designed for production from 1 to 15 tons of briquette per hour.

Advantages over analogues: The technology is adapted to the use of domestic raw materials and meets modern environmental safety requirements. The introduction of technology will increase the efficiency of heat generation by 30-40% compared with traditional combustion technologies.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Technical and economic effect: - reduction of the use of natural gas in Ukraine for heating and heat generation in the energy, industry, housing and communal services by 25-30%; - reducing the cost of thermal energy to 800 UAH. for 1 Gcal.; - minimization of emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere during fuel combustion. The economic efficiency of applying the technology of briquetting of off-speculate solid fuel wastes for a specific object is calculated in the process of carrying out a feasibility study (FER).

Description of the development:
()
In Ukraine, the bulk of coal is mined by combines. This leads to the fact that more than 35% of coal is a fine fraction with dimensions less than 5 mm. The most common technology for the development of peat deposits by milling leads to the fact that the bulk of the volume is also a small fraction. Household and industrial solid fuel boilers are designed for efficient combustion of fuel in size from 20 to 60 mm, the content of the kind and dust is allowed no more than 10%. Smaller fuel burns inefficiently, which leads to a decrease in efficiency of up to 50% and an increase in environmental pollution by solid waste, dust, and harmful emissions of CO2 and NOx into the atmosphere. Ukrainian University has developed a technology for briquetting waste coal, peat, lignin and other waste, which will provide household and municipal boilers with high-quality fuel. The technology passed industrial adaptation at the enterprises of Ukraine and the CIS. The technology of solid fuel briquetting is being implemented through the implementation of a project for the construction of new industrial facilities, or the modernization (reconstruction) of existing facilities. The introduction of briquetting technology pays off in 1-2 years.
