LASER DEVICES FOR REMOTE MONITORING OF SOIL MOVEMENTS, DEFORMATION AND VIBRATIONS OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES

Purpose of the development: The development is intended for measurement of deformation, registration of oscillations, bending monitoring and fluctuations of high-rise buildings and structures of the tower type, monitoring of landslides on the slopes of ravines and rivers, monitoring of bending of bridge spans.

Recommended application field: Means of seismic exploration and monitoring of buildings and structures.

Technical characteristic: - measurement distance - hundreds of meters; - error of measurement of deformation in a calm atmosphere - 3-10 microns; - sensitivity in the detection of oscillations (in a calm atmosphere) - ~ 10 to minus 1 degrees m.

Advantages over analogues: - high protection against electromagnetic interference and external irradiation (dazzle); - low sensitivity to changes in temperature, pressure and humidity of atmospheric air; - low energy consumption (100-200 mW); - low cost; - low cost of service (the need for specialists in laser technology is practically absent).

The development stage readiness: The working documentation is developed

Description of the development:
()
The device contains a source of laser radiation, an external optical system of frequency selective feedback, a spectrometric device and a processor, a line of transmission of an optical signal from a source of a laser radiation to a spectrometer device. The dispersion component of the frequency selective feedback system contains an angular dispersion element and an expander of a beam of laser radiation, and the selector consists of an objective and a retro-reflector.
