METHOD FOR CULTIVATING MICROWAVE FOR OBTAINING BIODIESEL


Purpose of the development: The method of cultivation of microalgae is designed to produce microalgae with a high content of lipid fraction for the further production of biodiesel fuel and other useful substances.

Recommended application field: The development can be used in agriculture and food industry for the production of dietary supplements, in the pharmaceutical industry for the production of raw materials for medicines, in the energy industry for the production of biodiesel fuel.

Technical characteristic: - the content of the lipid fraction: 55-70%; - content of saturated fatty acids: 95 ± 2%; - lighting system: a combination of LEDs; - exposure to frequencies: 5-25 kHz; - mode of operation: continuous; - medium temperature: 28 ± 2 ° С; - reactors: tubular or plane-parallel type; - placement: vertical or horizontal.

Advantages over analogues: • achieving a high content of lipid fraction - 55-70% - in the common type of microalgae Chlorella vulgaris; • increase in the rate of biomass growth; • reducing the cost of cultivation due to use; physical factors of exposure - radiation and lighting systems; • the possibility of using poultry waste and gas emissions from enterprises for growing biomass; • the possibility of obtaining additional products.

Description of the development:

A method for the cultivation of microalgae Chlorella vulgaris in closed light-transmitting containers or open ponds, which includes mixing the medium and bubbling the culture medium with carbon dioxide, is proposed. Periodic treatment is also carried out after 12–24 hours of the environment by ultrasound at a frequency of 20–50 kHz with a sound power of 0.5–5 W / cm2 for 5–600 seconds. The method proposed is intended for the production of biodiesel and valuable by-products: vitamins, chlorophyll, fertilizers, glycerin, feed and food additives, biologically active substances, etc.
