LASER DOPING
Purpose of the development:
The development is intended to improve the reliability and durability of the tool, reduce the cost of its manufacturing process, use new materials with a given set of properties through the targeted formation of the structure.
Recommended application field:
Industrial.
Advantages over analogues:
- the possibility of processing materials with different thermal and mechanical properties;
- the possibility of introducing any elements and composition into the surface of the hardened metal, which leads to the formation of a special structure, which has no analogue among known materials;
- the possibility of obtaining coatings of a special purpose or multipurpose purpose, which is impossible or economically inexpedient to obtain in other ways;
- the small size of the heat affected zone of radiation, minimizes distortion and deformation of the processed products.

Description of the development:
() Laser doping creates functional (special) layers, including all the variety of surface layers applied for the purpose of a particular surface modification - for example, increasing hardness, changing the coefficient of friction (in any direction), increasing wear resistance, imparting any other special properties.
Laser doping creates the prerequisites for obtaining high-quality products operating in harsh conditions, for intensifying the modes of their operation, increasing speeds and loads.
