LASER-PLASMA SURFACE


Purpose of the development: The laser technology of surfacing is intended for restoration and hardening of details of machines working under extreme conditions.

Recommended application field: These technologies provide maximum efficiency when applied to complex and expensive products (turbines of power plants, crankshafts of engines, details of drilling equipment, etc.).

Advantages over analogues: Laser fusing technology to restore and strengthen machine parts, in contrast to the widespread (gas-flame, plasma, etc.) solves this problem, since it allows you to almost completely avoid residual deformations that cannot be corrected by leveling and machining. The technology allows a 2-3 times increase in fusing performance without a significant increase in its cost.

In various industries, machines are widely used, parts of which work in extreme conditions. As a result, some parts of such parts quickly wear out, losing geometric shape and size. The main mechanism of actuation of such products is abrasive wear under conditions of aggressive environment, elevated temperatures, high specific pressures, lack of lubricants or limited lubrication conditions. Extremely effective ways to extend the life of such products with the use of reinforcing and restorative technologies. The combined technology of laser-plasma surfacing with separated functions of energy sources allows radically to increase productivity and quality while reducing the cost of the process. Plasma energy is used exclusively at the preparatory stage of the process of transportation and warming of the powder to a temperature of 0.8-0.9 Tpl. The laser beam melts a certain volume of the base material and brings to the melting point the plasma heated by the powder.
