TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

DISTRIBUTED SYSTEM FOR COLLECTION OF EXPERIMENTAL DATA BASED ON VIRTUAL IP MODULES


Purpose of the development: For building distributed multi-channel microcontroller systems for collecting and processing measurement information based on networks of virtual measurement modules with IP protocol support

Recommended application field: Enterprise-developers of industrial automation, information-measuring equipment, test and bench systems, industrial inspection and flaw detection systems, medical equipment.

Advantages over analogues: Ukraine does not manufacture micro-controller SoAP / CoRE-compatible Ethernet-modules for data collection. Therefore, the level of results corresponds to the world level of well-known manufacturers of data collection and management tools - AdLink, Advantech, ICP-Electronics, ICOP-Technology, ICP-DAS.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Technical and economic effect: 5 Implementing the results of the work will reduce the cost, weight and size parameters and power consumption of remote monitoring and control systems, and reduce the cost of setting up, configuring, and calibration, which is about 20% of the cost of developing and implementing information management systems. Implementing the results of work to build information-measuring monitoring and control systems with remote access based on microcontroller Ethernet technologies instead of multi-purpose computers will reduce the equipment cost by 5-7 times and significantly (6-8 times) reduce power consumption and device dimensions. The use of developments for educational workplaces instead of serial information collection modules will allow to reduce the cost of laboratory jobs 2-3 times and greatly simplify the creation of laboratories with remote access to real equipment for distance learning.

Description of the development:

An approach to building systems for collecting and processing experimental data as a multi-level network of virtual measurement modules is proposed. The concept of a virtual measuring module is proposed as a generalization of the concept of an intelligent sensor and information exchange module. Virtual IP-module is built as a network of physical information blocks with flexible configuration and support for IP-protocol for an external network. The hardware and software of network intelligent data acquisition modules based on Texas Instruments and Silicon Laboratories microcontroller tools were developed. Developed hardware and software for processing measurement information in the environment of real-time operating systems FreeRTOS and KeilRTX. Virtual modules are implemented in the time distribution mode to reduce hardware costs and system costs. Support has been provided for flexible software configuration of multichannel logic sensors based on the CoAP / CoRE web service. New technical solutions were obtained and hardware and software tools were created for building microcontroller virtual network measurement modules for collecting and processing experimental information with support for dynamic configuration and operation based on embedded real-time operating systems, CoRE specialized web protocols and CoRE web services, remote Internet -access based on embedded technologies and data collection systems based on them.
