Purpose of the development: For heating the liquid by the outgoing gases of various energy generating devices, cooling liquid products in air coolers and "dry" cooling towers.

Recommended application field: Enterprises of housing and communal services, fuel-using and power generating facilities.

Technical characteristic: Thermal power: 0.05-10 MW. Gas temperature: 50-600 ° С. Finning ratio: 15-22. Surface area of one linear meter of finned tube: 1.4-2.0 m2 / g. Aerodynamic resistance: - 2.0-2.5 times less than in conventional finned tubes.

Advantages over analogues: Compared to existing heat exchangers, the apparatus based on flat-oval pipes with incomplete fins has high manufacturability, simplicity of construction, compactness and low metal consumption, high intensity of heat exchange, low aerodynamic resistance and the associated low operating costs.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Technical and economic effect: Heat utilizers on the basis of flat-oval pipes are introduced into production at several enterprises of housing and communal services. Proved high efficiency of its use.
