2-COORDINATE DEVICE FOR DETERMINING ANNUAL SUN COORDINATE ON NANOSTRUCTURED SILICON FILMS
Purpose of the development:
To determine the angular coordinates of the Sun on nanostructured silicon films for spacecraft.
Recommended application field:
Aircraft Spacecraft orientation systems, materials science, photodetectors and photoelectric converters. Manufacturing nano and microsatellites.
Advantages over analogues:
The results of the work correspond to the world level, the accuracy of determining the angular coordinates of the developed devices (<1 °), weight and size parameters and operating characteristics are at the level of world analogues, and the design of the PCS on nanocrystalline silicon has no analogues.

The use of the developed structures and technologies can significantly reduce the cost and improve the operational characteristics of orientation devices for the Sun.
Description of the development:
() Designed slot-hole 2-coordinate devices for determining the angular coordinates of the Sun on single-crystal silicon and on nanostructured silicon films. Calculations of the design parameters of the sensors are given taking into account the linearization of the output characteristic based on the factors of variation of the incident power with increasing angles of incidence of the light beam and the dependence of the offset of the light spot on the angle of incidence.
Technologies have been developed for the fabrication of radiation-resistant devices on single-crystal silicon and on nanostructured silicon films with a complete set of technological documentation.
A technology has been developed for the synthesis of silicon nanocrystalline thin-film layers for devices for determining the angular coordinates of the Sun doped with rare-earth elements formed by the method of ion-beam evaporation.
Methods for studying the parameters of devices for determining the angular coordinates of the Sun, incl. their photoelectric parameters and angular characteristics, radiation resistance and temperature stability.
