Purpose of the development: For wastewater treatment of a wide range of origin.

Recommended application field: On installations of water utilities and enterprises of the food, textile, printing, pharmaceutical industries.

Technical characteristic: The main characteristics of the reagent derived from waste alumina production "red mud": - degree of removal of pollution from water is 95-98% (at the level of expensive chemical reagents); - high content of components (Fe - 50-55%; Ti - 5-6%; Al - 3-5%); - resource saving; - environmental technology.

Advantages over analogues: The proposed reagent is highly effective in removing dyes, surfactants, phosphates, natural organic substances. - it is cheaper than the reagents that are currently used, since the raw material for the reagent is alumina production wastes. It can be used instead of expensive, complex in production and chemical reagents that are scarce for remote regions, namely coagulants. - a new type of complex reagents from alumina production wastes was obtained.
