Purpose of the development: The development is aimed at reducing the duration of inpatient treatment of patients with mandibular fractures and can be used for osteosynthesis of mandibular fractures in the first and second stages of medical evacuation, particularly in combat conditions.

Recommended application field: Plates with the developed new geometry can be used in clinical practice of surgical and orthopedic dentistry.

Advantages over analogues: - improvement of osteosynthesis with a decrease in contact (surface of the plates) with bone tissue while maintaining fixation of the jaw without displacement; - increased stability of fixation of bone fragments; - reduced cost of manufacturing plates.

The plates designed should reduce the amount of metal and are coated with hydroxyapatite, which contributes to better healing of the fracture line.
