POLYFUNCTIONAL PLASMA COATINGS BASED ON COMPOSITE POWDERS WITH GALVANIC COATING VACUUM-ARC METHOD


Purpose of the development: To strengthen, restore and give the surface parts and designs the desired properties.

Recommended application field: Mechanical Engineering.

Advantages over analogues: Today, clad powders are offered by foreign companies on the basis of scarce materials (Ni, Cr, Co, Mo, etc.). With a fairly high cost. The developed technology is based on obtaining clad powders with less scarce materials (Ti, Al, Cu) using environmentally friendly equipment. At the same time, the possibility of obtaining nanostructured powder materials of various classes is envisaged; they are increasingly used in advanced modern technologies.

Description of the development:

Surface recovery through plasma spraying of coatings based on powders clad with a vacuum-arc method. Polyfunctional coatings have a complex of properties: wear resistance, corrosion-erosion resistance, heat resistance. Also clad powders allow to obtain nanostructured alloys with high strength properties, machine parts and tools using powder metallurgy methods with high mechanical properties, to create effective catalysts for the disposal and purification of harmful substances.
