NEW CASTING ALLOYS FOR WORK IN EXTREME CONDITIONS
Purpose of the development:
For the manufacture of heat-resistant and wear-resistant parts (burner nozzles, gas nozzles, fuel-injecting nozzles, parts of hydraulic ash removal systems) by casting methods.
Wear-resistant alloys necessary for work in conditions of intense abrasive, impact and hydro-abrasive wear.
Recommended application field:
In power system, metallurgy, cement plants, for the production of glass, etc. and at the enterprises of mechanical engineering where use high-temperature technologies.
Advantages over analogues:
The scaling resistance of chromium-aluminum steels at temperatures up to 1250 ° C is 4-6 times higher than the currently used chromium-nickel steels 40X24H12C or 20X25N19C2. The heat resistance of steels under the same conditions is 1.5-2.0 higher than that of chromium-nickel. Steel production is carried out in arc and induction furnaces using appropriate technologies.

Technical and economic effect:
The economic effect of replacing welded chromium-nickel nozzles cast from chromium-aluminum steels is 17-20 thousand UAH / year for one power unit.
