APPARATUS FOR EXTRACORPORAL HYPERTHERMIA OF THE BLOOD AND ITS APPLICATION IN THE INFLAMMATORY AND PURULENT PROCESSES OF THE BREAST CELLS
Purpose of the development:
The Ukrainian university has developed a new principle and apparatus for extracorporal continuous hyperthermia of blood to achieve positive effects of hyperthermia of blood (first of all, achievement of a powerful anti-inflammatory effect), excluding numerous complications that are observed when heating the whole body of the patient.
Recommended application field:
General surgery, traumatology, oncology, gynecology, stomatology.
Advantages over analogues:
There are no analogues of extracorporeal heating of blood with therapeutic purpose behind the closed contour. In this case, a whole range of positive effects that develop in hyperthermia of the human body and there are no negative influences and complications that are recorded when overheating the entire human body.
The development stage readiness:
Introduced in production
Description of the development:
() An apparatus for extracorporeal continuous hyperthermia of blood behind a closed circuit was created, and the method of extracorporal blood hyperthermia was developed in the treatment of purulent and inflammatory processes of the chest cavity organs.
The apparatus contains an automatic thermostat, a cylindrical heating device with spiral grooves, into which the polychlorinated tubes are inserted, inside which the patient's blood flows, while heating to the given temperature, is fed to another patient's cubital vein.
The essence of the technology is artificial hyperthermia (due to the action of bacterial agents), and the release of macrophages of blood that interact with these bacterial agents, interleukins, with the launch of anti-inflammatory mechanism.
