Purpose of the development: The New Vision project is aimed at developing new complex methods of preventing myopia, personalized through machine learning. During the project, an assistant mobile app was developed for self-vision training, as well as a prototype and the first batch of simulators for vision.

Recommended application field: The target audience of the product are office workers.

Advantages over analogues: An alternative solution to the problem of myopia and farsightedness is the classic training of vision, which takes a lot of time, does not give quick results and requires regular expensive sessions with ophthalmologists. Currently, there is no direct equivalent to the assistant application. The competitive advantage of the developed product is to create a more rapid and effective training method of vision, which reduces the time for training, allows you to train at home and limit yourself to regular consultations with ophthalmologists.

The development stage readiness: Pre-production model is made

Technical and economic effect: The simulator created specifically for the application assistant is much cheaper than similar ones on the market, and in conjunction with the application it can reduce the time of daily training and make it more efficient.

There are more than 285 million short-sighted people in the world who do not have time for classical training of vision, which take a lot of time and usually do not bring the desired results due to the universal approach that is applied to all patients. At the moment, the market does not have a similar integrated solution. Ukrainian University offers a cheap and inclusive solution that facilitates eye fatigue syndrome through the use of a simulator and a mobile application. The user interacts with the application using sound and vibration signals, which allows everyone who wants to train at home and according to an individual program selected by the assistant application.
