Purpose of the development: To enhance the corrosion protection of pipes, as well as a pipe surface modifier with the remnants of the old coating to re-insulate the existing pipeline with bitumen-polymer coatings.

Recommended application field: Pipe production. Pipelines of different industries.

Technical characteristic: viscosity at 20 ° C in OT 246 60-80 s, drying time 1.5-2.0 min (at 20 ° C), consumption 80-100 g / m2. Primer - low toxic compound, belongs to the 4th class of danger.

Advantages over analogues: As a result of the chemical interaction of the primer with the adhesive of the coating, the anticorrosive properties of the protective insulation are enhanced. In the case of re-insulation of existing pipelines with a bitumen-polymer coating, the primer modifies the pipe surface with the remnants of the old coating, eliminates sandblasting and significantly reduces energy costs.

Developed energy-saving processes for repairing local damage to the insulation of pipelines in the route and base conditions, created the scientific basis for the manufacture of original two-layer insulation tape and shrink sleeves to protect the welded joints of pipelines. In industrial conditions, the processes of obtaining two-layer tapes with low-melting thermoplastic adhesive, heat shrinkable sleeves and adhesive primer have been developed. It is proved that the proposed prier is capable of modifying the surface of the pipe with the remnants of the old coating, and allows for the re-insulation of existing pipelines with a bitumen-polymer coating to eliminate the sandblasting path while maintaining high performance.
