Purpose of the development: For use as feed, energy, melliferous, medicinal and green manure plants.

Technical characteristic: Productivity:       - above ground mass, t / ha 80-90;       - seeds, kg / ha 700-800. Protein yield, t / ha 2.5-3.0. Output of conditional biofuel, t / ha ten. Energy yield, Gcal / ha 60-80. Estimated biogas yield, m3 / a 15 000-17 000.

Advantages over analogues: Long life of culture phytocenoses (about 15 years). Early ripeness exceeds traditional analogues (alfalfa sowing and red clover). They are characterized by increased frost resistance (they withstand frosts down to -30 ° C). The leaves are not showered in the hay. Not affected by pests and diseases.

Perennial plant of the legume family. Technical ripeness occurs in the first decade of May. It is used both in fresh, and in the form of a senazh and hay. Varieties "Caucasian Captive", "Salute", "NBS-75", "Ryabchik" are listed in the State Register of Plant Varieties suitable for distribution in Ukraine.
