FEEDING MEDIUM FOR REPRODUCTION OF CHINESE CERCIS (CERCIS CHINENSIS BUNGE) IN VITRO
Purpose of the development:
To increase the regeneration potential of explants and increase the reproduction rate of C. chinensis, it provides ample opportunities for preserving the gene pool of plants, for obtaining mass morphologically and genetically uniform planting material of this species in the introduction of plants and ornamental horticulture.
Recommended application field:
Agriculture. Crop production. Ornamental gardening.
Technical characteristic:
The nutrient medium was created using the basic nutrient medium Murashige-Skoog in its own modification, which included the content of ammonium nitrate (NH4 NO3) and potassium nitrate (KNO3), and the aminoacid content of aminoacetic acid (glycine) was reduced. The vitamin composition is supplemented with vitamins C and B5, and the composition of growth regulators is modified by the addition of 6-BAP and 2,4-D.
Advantages over analogues:
The use of the nutrient medium accelerates the onset of morphogenesis by six days, increases from 3.0 to 4.99 the multiplication factor, from 2.5 to 3.2 pcs. - the average number of explants, and from 23.8 to 31.2 mm - their average length, which significantly increases the yield for planting and starting material.
