Purpose of the development: The technology provides efficient restoration of auto-tractor shafts, compressors, power plants of locomotives, gas compressor stations, as well as plungers, spools, seats of brake drum bearings, etc.

Recommended application field: Transport, utilities, energy, agricultural machinery, processing industry, etc.

Advantages over analogues: The advantage of this technology over others, in particular, over the common surfacing technology, is the relatively low surface temperature of the part being repaired during work (not higher than 150 ° C), which prevents the occurrence of thermal stresses, deformation of the product, changing its linear dimensions, the appearance of hidden defects such as cracks. The technology makes it possible to carry out multiple restoration of the same product, which is due to the preservation of the structural strength and geometry of the product after one or several restorations. The electrode material used to form a wear-resistant coating - the original, patent-protected, cored wire, which is 3-4 times cheaper than foreign analogues, is produced in Ukraine.

The development stage readiness: Tested experimental exploitation order

Technical and economic effect: The service life of the parts restored by this technology is not lower than that of new ones, and often exceeds it by 1.5-2 times.

The technology involves spraying a molten electrode material onto the surface of a part with a directed jet of compressed air. The process is carried out using a special electrometalizer equipped with original spray heads. An experimental industrial inspection at the enterprise showed that the developed coatings provide effective protection of the hydraulic cylinder rods against abrasive wear and are an alternative to the environmentally hazardous process of electroplating chrome plating. For the industrial implementation of the technology, the developer has also developed a set of equipment at his own research and development enterprise that allows him to restore camshafts and crankshafts up to 2 meters long and weighing up to 150 kilograms.
