Purpose of the development: New technological processes and original equipment have been developed for the restoration and strengthening of the working bodies of domestic and imported tillage machines and other parts of agricultural machinery using the electric contact method for the simultaneous sharpening and strengthening of working bodies (blade parts of plowshares, cultivating paws and serrated discs of heavy harrows).

Recommended application field: Agricultural enterprises.

Technical characteristic: Resource of restored parts relative to new foreign (domestic),%: - plowshares - 80-100 (100-200); - cultivator paws - 70-100 (100-150); - wild harrows - 80-100 (100-180). The cost of the restored part is relatively new,%: - ploughshare - 40-70; - cultivator paws - 50-70; - heavy harrow drive - 30-60.

The development stage readiness: Pre-production model is made

Technical and economic effect: The plant capacity allows processing up to 20 shares or 30 repair inserts for cultivators per hour. The cost of restored working bodies does not exceed 70% of new parts of foreign production.

The essence of the method is the processing using the arc process of the surface of the blade of the working body of the disk electrode, which rotates in a liquid medium. Moreover, on high-carbon steels without the cost of special reinforcing materials, we obtain a solid layer with a thickness of 1 to 4 mm. The hardness of the surfaces of the working bodies after strengthening in the range from 58 HRC to 62 HRC. Such a working body has a fairly high wear resistance and meets the requirements for self-sharpening. The sequence of basic technological operations should be as follows: - the formation of the geometric dimensions of the working body; - electrical contact reinforcement with simultaneous aggravation of plowshares, socks of plowshares and plowshares of coulters; - spot electric arc surfacing. For field boards, only the operation of spot electric arc surfacing with special electrodes is performed. When restoring the paws of cultivators, the operation of welding repair inserts to the skeleton is carried out after the operation of their sharpening and strengthening by the electrical contact method.
