Purpose of the development: In compound feeds for young quail, which are grown for meat.

Recommended application field: The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, state and private enterprises of the feed industry and farms in which agricultural poultry is grown.

Technical characteristic: Experimental development of a premix recipe for young quail containing compounds: glycinate manganese, zinc, iron and citrates of copper, cobalt and chromium, which are introduced in the following concentrations of components, mg / kg of feed: Mn - 80.0; Zn - 75.0; Fe - 25.0; Cu - 5.0; Co - 0.75; Cr - 1.0.

Advantages over analogues: It has been experimentally proved that the use of quail, which is grown for meat, manganese glycinate, zinc and iron and copper citrate, cobalt and chromium in feed for young animals, contributes to the production of poultry with a body weight of 5.0% more than the control group analogues, which the composition of the feed was fed inorganic salts of these metals.

The development stage readiness: Ready for application

Technical and economic effect: Studies show that feeding premixes with quail with the proposed composition helps to reduce feed costs per 1 kg of live weight gain by 1.7%.
