Purpose of the development: For carrying out processes of absorption, rectification, extraction and other heat and mass transfer processes.

Recommended application field: At the enterprises of the chemical, oil and gas processing, food industries.

Technical characteristic: - the hydraulic resistance of the apparatus is 2.4 kPa; - the degree of gas purification - 98-99%.

Advantages over analogues: For the first time in a real design of a mass transfer apparatus, countercurrent swirling motion of gas and liquid (droplet) flows was implemented, which made it possible to achieve several stages of concentration change in one spray stage and to replace column equipment, totals 6-10 plates, with one apparatus.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Technical and economic effect: Vortex pulverized countercurrent mass transfer apparatus allows to reduce the material consumption of mass transfer equipment by 5-7 times.

The flow rate of mass transfer processes per unit volume of the developed apparatus increases by an order of magnitude compared to that of similar column apparatuses.
