Description of the development:
() Tchere have been developed nanocomposite materials on the basis of organic clays mobified with katamins and silver nanoparticles. The silver particles have length from 10 up to 30 nm. As the studies showed, they kill up to 150 specific bacteria in 30 minutes. The antibacterial action lasts several days. Organic clays-foliated natural inorganic structures are used to create polymeric nanocomposites: montmorillonite (transforming into illite), hectorite, vermiculite, kaolin, saponite, etc. The main problem with synthesis of such materials, incompatibility of inorganic and organic components, is solved by modification of the clays by organic matter. The modified clay (organic clay) disperses well in polymeric matrix and interacts with polymer chain. To create nanocomposites inogranic nanoparticles are introduced info the polymeric matrix (oxides, nitrides, carbides, silicates, etc.). To achieve the assigned properties pigments, inhibitors, antioxidants, plasticizers, fillers and other substances are introduced into the polymeric composites. The developed materials are used to create new coatings that become a component of composition of bactericidal bandages, napkins, mats, and also sterile qypsum medical bandages. Aplication of the modified organic clays in production of exoprosthesis considerably improves their bactericidal properties and increases service life. The developed technology can be also applied in production of protective and therapeutic clothes for different purposes, possessing good water-, oil-, and dirt resistance with high stability to multiple washing. Adding composite materials with silver nanoparticles to water-emulsion paint increases ots bioactiveness. Concetration of coliform bacteria and legionellas on surfaces painted with this paint rapidly goesdown to total loss during not more than four hours. The unique feature of the paints is their prolonged complex fungicidal and bactericidal bioactivity. Because of the nanofraction presence, the paints do not only protect the covered surfaces from rotting and spoiling, but are also convenient to use (dry rapidly, do not drip from the brush). Batch production of enriched kaolin of the "Standard" series has been organized. Technology for production of paints with silver nanoparticles has been mastered. Development of formulatson and tachnology for production of exoprosthesis coatings is conducted jointly with the Reutov pilor plant of exoprosthesis.
