GROUND-CEMENT BASES AND FOUNDATIONS


Purpose of the development: The development concerns new highly effective technological methods for constructing artificial foundations and foundations. Actual issues of reducing the cost and time spent on the construction of foundations and underground structures, especially in difficult engineering and geological conditions, are being addressed.

Recommended application field: Construction.

Technical characteristic: GCE strength can range from 0.3-3.0 MPa (peat) 1-12 MPa (silt, clay); 2-14 MPa (sandy loam, loam) 5-30 MPa (sand, gravel). The effect of such reinforcing of the bases is that, in a certain amount of weak soil, part of it is replaced by a rigid material (н dirt cement) with a sufficiently large deformation modulus (E = 70-200 MPa). Natural soil, sandwiched between the vertical ҐCE, also increases its mechanical characteristics due to the impossibility of lateral bulging.

Advantages over analogues: The analogues of the development in the world are soil-cement foundations and foundations arranged using other technologies, including inkjet (jet technology). The advantages are the lower consumption of resources, both energy and material consumption (cement, water), the simplicity of technological operations and, as a result, the use of affordable domestic equipment.

Description of the development:

Soil-cement foundations and foundations are arranged according to the mixing technology, the essence of which is that during the drilling of the well, natural soil loosens without removing it from the well. A water-cement suspension is pumped into the destruction zone through the swivel, which is equipped with a drilling rig, with a mortar pump, which is carefully mixed with loose soil by the working body. Loosening the soil, supplying cement mortar and mixing it with the soil is performed along the entire length of the soil-cement element (GCE). After setting the mixture, a strong HCE is formed, does not soak in the aquatic environment. This technology is especially effective for reinforcing subsidence and soft soils.
