Purpose of the development: For the processing of toxic and nuclear waste, the synthesis of new materials, microelectronics, the production of building products and structures, chemical production, oil refining and oil production.

Recommended application field: Pharmaceutical, food, perfumery and cosmetic. Beer and alcohol industry.

Technical characteristic: Characteristic unit measured - value. Area required for installation - m2 25. Maximum working pressure in extractor - MPa 50. Useful volume of extractor m3 - 0.01. The degree of grinding of raw materials in the range of - 0.5-10 mm. Extractor loading (depending on raw materials) kg - 2.5-8. Humidity of raw materials no more than% - 5. Range of operating temperatures in the extractor ° C - 35-100. Number of drives pcs - 1-4. Useful volume of the drive not less than m3 - 0,005. Installed electric power no more than kVA - 15. Total service life of the installation - 10 years.

Advantages over analogues: This gas does not harm the environment, which has significant advantages over other organic solvents. SK-C02 allows you to separate the desired components, excluding the possibility of including toxic solvent residues in the extracts and without the risk of decomposition of the released products as a result of thermal exposure.

At pressures above 7.39 MPa and temperatures above 31.6 ° C, carbon dioxide is in the so-called supercritical state, in which its density is like that of a liquid, and its viscosity and surface tension are like that of a gas. This unusual physical substance (fluid) is an excellent non-polar solvent. Supercritical CO2 is able to completely or selectively extract any non-polar components, and with the introduction of a co-solvent it is also able to dissolve polar substances found in plant materials.
