Purpose of the development: To enrich the diet of people and animals, as a food coloring, as well as a medicine.

Advantages over analogues: There are no analogues in Ukraine. The constructed strains are characterized by high productivity of riboflavin synthesis. The main advantage of the constructed strains is their high genetic stability compared with the existing producers of riboflavin. The biotechnological production of riboflavin will reduce both energy costs and chemical pollution of the environment.

Riboflavin-producing strains are constructed using modern metabolic engineering approaches. The composition of the medium and cultivation conditions were optimized for maximum yield of the target product. The laboratory regulation of the technology for producing vitamin B2 has been processed.
