PACKAGE OF APPLICATIONS FOR THE CALCULATION OF HEAT EXCHANGE PROCESSES IN DEVICES WITH A PSEUDO-LIQUID LAYER
Purpose of the development:
To calculate the hydro- and thermodynamic characteristics of the operation of granulation, drying, cooling units with a fluidized bed of dispersed particles.
Recommended application field:
The development can be applied in any industry where apparatuses with a fluidized bed of dispersed particles are used.
Advantages over analogues:
Development advantages are:
- performance;
- a wide range of calculations;
- the possibility of an optimization calculation at the design stage of the apparatus without conducting an additional physical experiment;
- the ability to quickly adapt software to customer requirements;
- clarity of calculations (displaying to the user on the screen design schemes of equipment with certain sizes, three-dimensional graphical dependencies, etc.).

Description of the development:
() The application package is developed on the basis of original mathematical models for calculating the hydro- and thermodynamic characteristics of the operation of fluidized-bed apparatus. The mathematical model includes the basic equations of hydrodynamics of single and two-phase flows, thermodynamic equations, equations of kinetics of heating and dehydration of granules and the like. All equations of the mathematical model are adapted for devices with active hydrodynamic modes.
