TECHNOLOGY FOR FILM COOLING OF GAS TURBIN SHOVELS
Purpose of the development:
To reduce cooler consumption during film cooling of high temperature gas turbine blades.
Recommended application field:
It is applied in power.
Technical characteristic:
The technology is based on the supply of air outside through a system of surface recesses of various geometric shapes (spherical, cylindrical, triangular, trench) with a low ratio of their depth to diameter (0.5-1.0). This ensures an increase in the efficiency of film cooling by 1.5-2.5 times in comparison with the traditional scheme and a decrease in the flow rate of the cooler by 10-15%.
Advantages over analogues:
The technology ensures uniformity of the protective film, reduction of flow separation and minimizes the negative impact of secondary vortex structures; it is characterized by a simple manufacturing technology compared to well-known foreign counterparts.
