SMALL LASER OPTICAL-ELECTRONIC AIR SPACE MONITORING SYSTEM IN OPTICAL AND INFRARED RANGE


Purpose of the development: The solution of a wide range of tasks of monitoring airspace; identification of all moving objects; automatic detection and recognition of the type of flying object; selection of a specific object to accompany; high-precision tracking of an air object; automatic calculation of trajectory parameters in the local and global coordinate system.

Recommended application field: - monitoring of airspace in the visible and infrared ranges; - trajectory measurements of the actual parameters of the trajectories of aircraft during field tests; - use in guidance systems, control automatic weapons and narrowly targeted electronic warfare (EW).

Description of the development:

Complex structure: - optical range camera with a high magnification lens; - a thermal imager with a telephoto lens, a laser rangefinder; - GPS receiver for geodetic reference; - a laser horizon level for positioning the slewing ring; - information and analytical subsystem. The system provides work in the following conditions: - changes in light and contrast; - additive noise in the image; - the presence of a moving background; - changes in the dynamics of the movement of an air object and active maneuvering of a target; - the possibility of complete, partial, short-term or long-term overlapping of an object by other objects or landscape elements with continued maintenance. Implementation Features: small dimensions, high mobility, modularity; the use of information and analytical technology for monitoring airspace, which provides video streams and control cameras and a laser rangefinder; image filtering, automatic detection, recognition and classification of airborne objects; selection of a specific object and tracking point on it; automatic calculation of the parameters of the object trajectory and their dispersions; predicting the coordinates of the tracking point; search for a lost object; analysis of variance of tracking errors.
