DEVICE FOR DETECTING DEFECTIVE FUEL REACTOR ASSEMBLIES
Purpose of the development:
To increase the efficiency and reliability of the system for monitoring the tightness of the fuel assemblies of the reactor.
Recommended application field:
Nuclear power.
Advantages over analogues:
The use of a specially organized two-phase finely dispersed stream allows to increase the efficiency of washing off fission products from the claddings of fuel elements.
Organization of multiple circulation of air and water in the volume of the working rod makes it possible to avoid dilution of activity in the process of tightness control, which increases the quality and reliability of the control.
