UNIVERSAL STATION OF RADIO-RELAY AND TROPOSPHERIC COMMUNICATION

Purpose of the development: A multi-interface universal digital communication station is designed to organize wireless communication in the centimeter frequency range based on the creation of direct-visibility radio relay communication lines or tropospheric communication lines at closed intervals. When creating tropospheric lines, the effect of reflection of centimeter radio waves from inhomogeneities of turbulent layers of the troposphere is traditionally used, which allows reliable communication in the absence of direct visibility.

Recommended application field: - providing radio-relay communication at a distance of 35-50 km and tropospheric communication up to 120-150 km with the transmission of digital information with speeds from 1 to 20 Mbit / s between command posts in the operational-tactical and tactical control unit of the Armed Forces. Organization of operational communications in the interests of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in response to natural and man-made emergencies; - organization of the main and reserve areas in technological and special communication networks; - organization of communication in sparsely populated and inaccessible areas.

Technical characteristic: 1) Information transfer rate: - at a distance of up to 100 km - 1 ... 2 Mbps; - at a distance of up to 40-60 km - up to 40..50 Mbit / s. 2) Power of the transmitter amplifier Rpr = 50 ... 100 W. 3) The ability to add the power of two or four amplifiers. 4) A parabolic antenna with a gain of Ga ~ 30 ... 36 dB.

Advantages over analogues: - modular construction principle; - small size of the station; - station deployment speed (up to 15 min.); - use of the Nitree-dual-slave communication protocol, which is resistant to non-stationary conditions of tropospheric scattering of radio waves; - the use of modern technological telecommunication solutions (SDR-software Defined Radio, adaptation of time, frequency, spatial, polarization and speed parameters); - minimization of the influence of multipath: (modulation, additional diversity in time and polarization, reception using the equalizer and pre-detector assembly, adaptation in speed); - the possibility of convergence with modern multiservice geographically distributed telecommunication systems with guaranteed quality of service based on the station’s bagato interface (mesh networks of IEEE 802.11 a / b / g / n / e standard, MANET networks, etc.).

The development stage readiness: Pre-production model is made

Description of the development:
()
A prototype tropospheric and microwave relay station was created on the new MikroTik Router OS microelectronic element base and centimeter-range transceiver equipment. The station is made in the form of a monoblock and a parabolic antenna with a diameter of 90 cm to 2 m. The monoblock includes: - access module (Router Board hardware platform); - a radio frequency unit, which, in turn, includes a power amplifier of the transmitting path and a low-noise amplifier of the receiving path.
