NEW PROTECTIVE OPTICALLY TRANSPARENT COATINGS FOR PHOTO-ENERGY AND OPTOELECTRONICS PRODUCTS
Purpose of the development:
Making solar panels.
Recommended application field:
Photoenergy and optoelectronics. The manufacture of solar panels for various purposes.
Technical characteristic:
Coatings:
- optical transparency, not less than - 92-95%;
- adhesion to inorganic and organic surfaces not less than - 45 MPa;
- operating temperature range - from -190 to +200 ° С;
- ultimate shear stress - 27.5 MPa;
- resistance to thermal cycling (from -100 to + 80 ° C) - 1000 cycles;
Coated Photovoltaic Converters (PECs):
- short circuit current - 1.09 A;
- open circuit voltage - 12.0 V;
- coefficient of performance (COP) - 16.4%.
Advantages over analogues:
Compared with existing domestic and foreign counterparts, the proposed coatings by their characteristics have higher adhesion to surfaces with different surface energies, a wide temperature range of operation; increased resistance to ultraviolet and radiation radiation while maintaining optical properties, high mechanical strength.

Technical and economic effect:
The use of such coatings improves the energy efficiency of solar cells and reduces their cost by more than 2 times, extends their life.
