INCREASING THE LEVEL OF EFFICIENCY OF WATER-HEATING BOILERS TYPE TVG, KVG, NIISTU-5


Purpose of the development: To increase gas efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

Recommended application field: City heating systems.

Advantages over analogues: Reconstruction of boilers with the replacement of burners and convective heating surface allows to extend the service life by 15 years and increase the efficiency by an average of 5% to the level of the best world standards. The temperature of the exhaust gases is reduced by 70-80 ° С, the boiler efficiency is increased by 4.3-5% to 94-96%.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Technical and economic effect: Modernization provides saving of natural gas - 172 thousand m3 / year or 2.6 million m3 over 15 years) compared with the purchase and installation of a new TVG-8M boiler or reconstruction of the old boiler to the factory state. Payback 1-1.5 years.

Description of the development:

To increase the efficiency of gas use and reduce energy consumption, the hearth of the 111th generation MPIG-3 slotted burner is installed in the boiler (a modernized hearth radiating burner developed by the Gas Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv). The burners are equipped with special calibrated gas nozzles (nozzle geometry is maintained, which is especially important for nozzles up to 3 mm, in connection with which the gas-to-air ratio corresponds to the operating map throughout the entire heating season) and air guides that provide improved gas mixing processes with air, they work with small excesses of air and intensify heat transfer in the furnaces.
