REDUCED NITROGEN OXIDES FORMATION AT BURNING FUEL IN BOILERS


Purpose of the development: For industrial boilers and power plants that do not have a recirculation smoke exhauster.

Recommended application field: Energy (industrial boiler houses, power plants).

Advantages over analogues: The use of recirculation allows you to adjust the heat transfer to the combustion screens and the temperature of the superheat of steam, to bring together the characteristics of the boilers when burning various fuels, for example, liquid and gaseous. The introduction of recirculation gases into the combustion chamber leads to a slight decrease in boiler efficiency, but it opens up great opportunities for boiler unification in terms of fuel and reduction in the formation of nitrogen oxides. When recirculation gases with a temperature of 300 ° C are supplied to the blast air in an amount equal to 20% of the volume of air entering the combustion, the maximum flame temperature is usually reduced by 120-130 ° C, and the yield of nitrogen oxides by 2-2.5 times.

The following methods have been developed and first applied in the CIS countries to intensify the effects of recycling: a) the supply of recirculation gases not to blast air "but to fuel gas - increases the efficiency of the action of recirculation gases by 2–3 times, which allows to reduce not NOx output by a factor of 2, not only 20%, but only 7% of recirculation gases are introduced into the burner ( the boiler’s efficiency is practically not reduced), and this reduces the load of draft machines. b) an increase in the supply of recirculation gases to the central burners and a corresponding decrease in their supply to the extreme ones — increases the intensity of the influence of recirculation gases, the yield of nitrogen oxides decreases by 25–30% —applied to boilers of 200 MW TGMP-314A power units.
