ANTENNA ARRANGEMENT OF GPS / GLONASS NAVIGATION COMPLEX WITH POSSIBILITY OF ADAPTIVE SUPPRESSION OF ACTIVE INTERFERENCE

Purpose of the development: The new microstrip adaptive antenna array provides the ability to suppress active interference.

Recommended application field: The developed adaptive antenna array can be used in GPS / GLONASS anti-interference satellite navigation systems for special and military applications, electronic warfare systems, etc.

Technical characteristic: The reflection coefficient of the emitters is less than -13 dB. The ellipticity coefficient in the zenith direction for all emitters is less than 3 dB. The irregularity of the radiation pattern in the ranges L1 and L2 is less than ± 3 dB for elevation angles of 15-50 ° and ± 1 dB for elevation angles of 50-90 °. The average value of the emitter gain is 5 dB.

Advantages over analogues: The advantages of a microstrip antenna array are its compactness and simplicity of design, the possibility of simultaneously receiving signals with right circular polarization in both the operating ranges L1 and L2 of the GPS and GLONASS satellite navigation systems. The microstrip resonant emitters used in the antenna in the form of a ring with notches have several advantages over classical round and square resonators. They have smaller transverse dimensions, a wider operating frequency band with the same ellipticity coefficient, and a lower level of mutual influence of lattice elements.

The development stage readiness: Pre-production model is made

Description of the development:
()
The antenna array implements a new optimized design of the central dual-band emitter in the form of a two-level microstrip resonator, which operates on the right circular polarization simultaneously in two frequency ranges. To reduce the mutual influence of peripheral emitters, they were rotated by 90 °, 180 °, or 270 °, and their sizes were optimized. The developed antenna array provides the necessary performance characteristics in the frequency ranges of the GPS and GLONASS satellite navigation systems: GPS L1 - 1570-1585 MHz; GPS L2 - 1226-1237 MHz; GLONASS L1: 1593-1608 MHz; GLONASS L2: 1237-1254 MHz.
