Purpose of the development: Films are intended for use as edible packaging to protect products from mechanical damage, biological and chemical effects. They maintain optimum moisture and protect against staling.

Recommended application field: Food industry, hotel and restaurant business, etc.

Description of the development:

The films contain nutrients: pectin, b-carotene, B and U vitamins, betaine, fiber, and sorbents. All samples are soluble in water at room temperature. In 10-15 minutes the films are laid out into individual particles, which then dissolve. Dependence of the temperature of the onset of deformation of the samples on constant load: tensile strength is 10, 2.5, and 1.25 kg / cm2 at temperatures of 40.80 and 130 ° C, respectively.
