SOFTWARE COMPLEX FOR OPTIMIZATION OF DRAINAGE OF FLOODED AREAS


Purpose of the development: A software-modeling complex for creating effective drainage schemes for flooded territories and settlements.

Recommended application field: City utilities, state and local organizations for environmental protection and nature management, involved in the control and prevention of flooding of territories.

Advantages over analogues: The software package can be used to create, plan and optimize the operation of the existing drainage system in the flood zones, to plan additional measures to reduce the groundwater level in cities. Using the software package will allow maintaining an acceptable level of groundwater with minimal energy consumption for the operation of drainage wells, and, if necessary, make recommendations for expanding the drainage system. Maintaining an acceptable level of groundwater will prevent the destruction of industrial, residential and environmentally hazardous facilities, as well as improve the environmental condition of adjacent territories by slowing down the processes of waterlogging, erosion and salinization.

The complex allows calculating the volume of water withdrawal from each of the drainage wells of vertical drainage with submersible pumps to support the surface of the groundwater at a standard level throughout the entire period of operation. As a result of using the complex, the volume of water withdrawal by drainage wells was established, which is necessary to maintain the standard level of the free surface of groundwater in the flooded sections of the city of Rzhishchev. The free surface of groundwater was found by model to control (by comparing it with observations of the state of groundwater) the effect of drainage during the entire operation of the drainage system. You can also calculate the regulation of the inclusion of drainage pumps depending on the water level in the observation wells of the monitoring system
