WIND POWER PLANT WITH VERTICAL ROTOR


Purpose of the development: The developed installation can be widely used in creating a network of low-power wind power plants (wind turbines) with an increased coefficient of use of wind energy to supply electricity to the housing.

Recommended application field: Vertical wind turbines can be installed on individual masts or roofs of houses.

Technical characteristic: Depending on the size of the entire installation and wind speed, you can get from 100 W to 10 kW per hour from one wind turbine.

The development stage readiness: Pre-production model is made

Description of the development:

New is the design of the rotor. The development objective is to increase the rotor torque due to the use of wind flow energy by the blades, which are in the vane position. To reduce the moment of resistance forces and increase the efficiency and efficiency of wind turbines, a number of similar designs have been developed. At the minimum wind speed, the blades that are on one part of the rotor rotate around the vertical axes and occupy the vane position and allow air flow, and the blades that are on the other part of the rotor rest on the rods and perceive the air flow, as a result of which the rotor begins to rotate. The operability of the design of the wind turbine rotor is confirmed on the experimental model.
