TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

SUPER HIGH FREQUENCY RADIO-TRANSPARENT CERAMIC MATERIALS


Purpose of the development: Ukrainian University has developed a technology for the manufacture of composite non-metallic materials with a given set of special properties that can be used, in particular, for the production of nose cones of small-sized radio-controlled missiles.

Recommended application field: The production of radio-controlled aircraft and the creation of various new types of glass-crystal materials of various functional purposes, the products of which can be manufactured using energy-saving technology.

Advantages over analogues: The developed technology significantly expands the range of affordable and relatively inexpensive composite non-metallic materials, is energy efficient and makes it possible to change the crystal-phase composition of materials and to manufacture complex products on their basis, which, in particular, are fairings of aircraft.

The development stage readiness: Pre-production model is made

Technical and economic effect: The introduction of the presented development into production will help to reduce the dependence of domestic enterprises on imported components, strengthen the position of Ukrainian manufacturers in world markets, increase the defense capability and national security of Ukraine.

Description of the development:

A feature of the manufacturing technology of the proposed materials and products from them is based on the use of classical ceramic technology in combination with the principle of reaction formation of the structure. The value of the expected results lies in the improvement of previously obtained technological solutions in order to establish effective ways and rational parameters of the process of strengthening radiolucent ceramics obtained in various aluminosilicate systems, as well as quartz ceramics, while maintaining a set of other necessary requirements. The establishment of physicochemical laws governing the formation of the structure and phase composition of research materials in conjunction with the main technological indicators will determine their performance in harsh operating conditions.
