MICROPRISIM CURRENT REFLECTOR
Purpose of the development:
For installation in curved roads, at the intersection of streets, on islets of safety.
Recommended application field:
Road services.
Technical characteristic:
The reflector has the shape of a conical octagonal cylinder with a diameter of 81.4 mm. Round reflective elements are placed on each of these flat eight faces in special circular recesses, the diameter of each element is 22 mm.
A symmetric structure with a microrelief pitch W = 600 ?m was used in the design of the reflective element
Such a step provides a diffractive expansion of the beam reflected from the reflective beam by 6–7 degrees, which allows it to be used both for small 100–150 m and for significant 500–800 m observation distances.
Advantages over analogues:
The element design ensures that the observer or driver receives an optical signal at various lighting angles of the reflective element.

Description of the development:
() The reflector case is made of polycarbonate, the choice of this particular structural material is due to the need to provide high mechanical strength with reflectors.
In the claimed retroreflector, the housing is made by injection molding, but any other method can be used, for example, machining of the respective workpieces. White polycarbonate was used, but color is not an essential feature.
