Purpose of the development: For the implementation of automated accounting and inventory of waste at enterprises of all forms of ownership.

Recommended application field: Enterprises of various industries.

Technical characteristic: The information system (IS) E-WIS was created in order to comply with the current legislation of Ukraine regarding waste management in enterprises.

Advantages over analogues: When creating the E-WIS, the advantages and disadvantages of existing systems developed and work in different countries of the world, in particular the EU and the USA, were taken into account: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System, Actio Regulator, Mine Waste Inventory work package, An extranet waste inventory application, Hazardous Waste Self Audit Programs. Accounting, inventory and documentation in IP is fully consistent with the legislation of Ukraine.

The inventory process is carried out at the location of the facilities. The task of IP is to support the processes of conducting and analyzing the environmental activities of the enterprise, storing data on raw materials, materials, waste and emissions and generating reporting documentation.
