Today, wind generators are presented on the small wind energy market of Ukraine, which operate at rated power at wind speeds of more than 8 m / s, while others generally operate at 10 m / s. However, more than 90% of Ukraine has an average wind below 6 m / s. A DC generator, it is proposed, operates at rated power at a wind speed of 5 m / s.
